SOLOMON--Arlyne Seely, 91, Manchester, died Thursday, Aug. 4, 2005, at Enterprise Estates Nursing Center, Enterprise.

She was born Sept. 11, 1913, at New Cambria, the daughter of Edgar B. and Nettie (Davis) Stahl. She was reared in the community of her birth and attended local schools.

She married George L. Seely on Sept. 3, 1932, at the home of her parents in New Cambria. They moved to Manchester in 1934. She moved to Enterprise Estates in July 2005.

Mrs. Seely had worked as a sales clerk at Gibson's in Salina.

She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, New Cambria, the church missionary group and Royal Neighbors.

Survivors include nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; two brothers, Emmett Stahl and George Stahl; and a sister, Bernice Croyle.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, 2005, at Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, Solomon, with Pastor Steve Thaden officiating. Burial will be in White Cloud Cemetery, Manchester.

Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. Monday until time of service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Longford Methodist Church, sent in care of the funeral home.
