Carl D. Seely


Carl D. Seely of New Lebanon and formerly of Greenfield, died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 1990, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Dayton.

Born Feb. 10, 1919, in Portsmouth, he was the son of the late Roscoe and Ablene Seely of Greenfield.

Surviving are his wife, Thelma; three sons, Gary, Kenny, and Roy Seely; one grandson Craig Seely of New Lebanon; three brothers, Howard Seely of Toledo and Richard and George Seely, both of Greenfield; four sisters, Helen Haas of Dayton, Hazel Carr of Washington Court House and Mildred Knisley and Marlene Combs, both of Greenfield.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Wayne and Ray G. Seely.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Eaton Chapel Barnes Funeral Home at Eaton.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. tonight.

There will be a military service in his honor for he was a World War II veteran.
