Charles Albert Seely

Charles Albert Seely, prior to purchasing his farm at Bradleytown in 1930, lived in Oil City. He had been in the employ of the city for over 10 years and previously had worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad.

Mr. Seely was born in Troy Township on July 23, 1871, son of William and Charlotte Seely. About 40 years ago he was united in marriage to Estella Conger who survives him with the following children: Elmer and Mrs. Norma Bearce of Bradleytown, Merle of Oil City and Ray of Franklin. Another son, Charles, Jr., passed away in 1913. Four grandchildren and two brothers, Joseph of Portland, N.Y., and E.B. Seely of Grand Valley, also survive.

He had long been a member of the First Evangelical church of Oil City and enjoyed the respect of all with whom he came into contact. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
