Frank A. Seely


FRANK A. SEELY – Knoxville, passed away there at the home of his son, Clifton Seely, Tuesday evening after a brief illness. Mr. Seely was born in Deerfield Township, Pa., September 16, 1852. He was united in marriage, March 19, 1876, to Miss Mary Taylor of Deerfield Township, who preceded him in death fourteen years ago. Survivors include four sons, Herbert L. of Academy Corners, Pa.; Claude E. Seely, of Emporium; Harry W. Seely, Owego, N.Y.; and Clifton Seely of Knoxville; one brother Edwin Seely of Wellsboro, Pa., one sister, Mrs. Susie Husted, of Emporium; eight grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Seely at two o’clock, Friday, with the Rev. Frank Davis, Baptist minister, officiating. Burial will be in Butler Hill Cemetery.
