Janie Mae Seely passed away peacefully at the Ray Hickey Hospice House on September 26, 2010 at the age of 96. Janie was born on February 13, 1914 in San Bernardino, CA to Thomas and Inda (Gwire) Mears.
Janie was married to George H. Stoner for 18 years, when he passed away in 1955. She married Harry Seely in 1958, and he later preceded her in death in 2001. Janie loved gardening, her grandchildren and family, and was a foster parent for infants for several years. She was preceded in death by a son Thomas Roy Stoner in 1970.
Survivors include her daughter and son in-law Judy and Ron Paul of Vancouver, WA; daughter in law, Joyce Stoner, of Gresham, OR; 7 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will begin at 12:30pm, Wednesday, September 29th at Willamette National Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the care of Davies Cremation & Burial Services.
