Mrs. Jesse Seely

Mrs. Jesse Seely, 68, Plainfield, died Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at the Wild Rose Hospital. She had suffered from a heart ailment.

Mrs. Seely, the former Jessie Phillips, was born on July 3, 1902, in Springfield, Ill., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hosea Phillips. Her marriage to Mr. Seely took place in Marshfield on June 12, 1921.

Surviving are her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Premeau, Burlington, and Mrs. Ronald (Janice) Fischer, Wheelling, Ill.; two sons, Stephen Seely, East Troy, and Marvin Seely, Salem, Ore.; 14 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Keith Knapton, Lewiston, Idaho, and three brothers, Hugh Phillips, Paramont, Calif., Austin Phillips, Bovey, Minn., and Edward Phillips, Clarston, Wash. A sister, a brother, a daughter and her parents preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o’clock, at the United Methodist Church, Plainfield. Burial will take place in the Almond Village Cemetery.

Friends may call today at the Goult-Patterson-Hardel Funeral Home, Plainfield, and after noon on Tuesday at the church.
