SEELY, John Carpenter, a resident of Tucson, AZ, died April 12, 1997 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born in Cleburne, TX on August 22, 1924 to Anton and Lois Seely. He grew up in Ft. Stockton, TX where he graduated from high school. During World War II John served as a fighter pilot in the Army Air Corps. He served in the Campaign of Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe as well as with the Occupation Forces on Okinawa. He married Barbara Lee Peters on September 23, 1950. He graduated from the University of Arizona, College of Pharmacy, in 1951, and was a pharmacist for 45 years. John is survived by his wife, Barbara, of the home; four daughters, Susan Salazar (Bob) of Rio Rancho, NM; Stephanie Seely of Albuquerque, NM; Ellen Ellis (Morris) of Las Cruces, NM; and Laura Richey (John) of Austin, TX; and a son, Mark Seely of Tucson.
