Joyce Seely, 80, of Hamden, Conn., died Friday after a brief illness.
She was born Nov. 16, 1926, in Lake Ariel, daughter of the late Carleton and Ann Swingle.
Surviving are a son-in-law, Frank "Bud" Hromadka, Hamden; a brother, William Swingle, Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, James Hromadka, Hamden; Jennifer Hromadka, North Haven, Conn.; Rick Hromadka, California; David Hromadka, Florida; and Michael Hromadka, Clinton, Conn.; four great-grandchildren, Dylan and Hannah Hromadka, Clinton; and Ryan and Rachel Hromadka, California; nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janet Seely; and a brother, Carleton Swingle.
