Mrs. Julia Seely Dead at Preston

Preston, Minn. – (Special) – Mrs. Julia Seeley, 84, died suddenly Monday evening of a stroke at the home of her son, Kenneth, here.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:45 p.m. at Heitner’s funeral chapel and at 2 p.m. at Grace Lutheran church, the Rev. R.J.F. Vordale officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Seely, the former Julia Johnson, was born March 18, 1865, in Norway and came to Fillmore county when she was seven years old.

A resident of Harmony for seven years, Mrs. Seeley came to live with her son here in September, 1948. Her husband, Wallace C. Seely, died in March 1943.

Survivors are three sons, Kenneth and Clarence, Preston, and Harry, Robbinsdale, Minn.; two grandchildren: three great-grandchildren, and one brother, Jacob Johnson, Detroit Lakes, Minn.
