Lila Ann Seely


Lila Ann Seely, 56, a former LaGrange resident living in Big Prairie, Ohio, died at the Wooster Community Hospital on Friday after a three-month illness.

She was born in Amherst and lived in LaGrange for most of her life. She was a member of the LaGrange United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women’s Club and the Martha Circle.

Mrs. Seely also served as secretary of the Big Prairie Community Club.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Ray (Kathy) Neuhauser of Big Prairie and Mrs. James (Lois) Berger of Litchfield; three granddaughters; and two sisters, Mrs. Ed Hall of Vinton, Ohio and Mrs. Charles Lowe of Lorain.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 1967; and one sister.

Friends may call at the Blackburn-Fulton Funeral Home in Grafton on Monday from 7 -9 p.m. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with the Rev. Stuart Stephens, pastor of the United Methodist Church of Sandusky, officiating.

Burial will be in the River Road Cemetery in LaGrange.
