Mrs. Lilly Maud Seely, 81, died Thursday in Goldendale. She had been a long time resident of Roosevelt.

Mrs. Seely was born in Corvallis, Ore. and spent her early years there. In 1911 she was married to Coe Seely, and they lived in Corvallis until 1925, when they moved to Roosevelt. She was employed by the Oregon-Washington Telephone Co. as an operator.

In 1946 they returned to Corvallis and lived there until June of 1966, when they returned to Roosevelt to live with a sister-in-law, Mrs. Elizabeth Nygaard. Since her husband’s death in 1966, she had continued to live there.

She was a member of the Corvallis Evangelical Church.

Mrs. Seely is survived by one son, Wilbur of Roosevelt; two grandchildren, Mrs. Phyllis Goree and Buzz Seely, both of Roosevelt; five great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Anna Burge of Corvallis; and several nieces and nephews.
