MT. PLEASANT/SALT LAKE : Lucille Harris Seely passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on March 19, 2003 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease.

She was born to Loring and Mary Luella Harris on July 12, 1919 in Provo, Utah, the second of six children.

She attended school in Provo, graduating form Provo High School in 1938. She married John Wesley Bray and gave birth to two sons. Later married Dr. C. John Christenson. Following his death she continued nurturing his four young children to adulthood. On June 28, 1975 she became the wife of L. Reid Seely and they were subsequently sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. She worked for many years as Director of Scholarships and Grants at the graduate school of the University of Utah. Lucille was a very happy, loving and compassionate person and leaves a legacy of love to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, brothers, Eugene (Mickee) Harris, Arvada, CO; Arthur (Barbara) Harris, St. George, UT; sister, Beth (Del) Taylor, LaHabra, CA; sons, Kent Bray, Chandler, AZ; Stephen (Cindy) Bray, Ogden, UT; extended family, Tom (Kaye) Christenson and Jim Christenson both of Salt Lake City, UT; Lyn and Dennis Chapman, Provo, UT; Preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou and brother, Norman; Douglas Christenson. She was also greatly loved and respected by Stephen Seely, Michael (Mary Jane) Seely, Suzanne and Dana Tirado, and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her greatly.

Funeral services will be held Monday March 24, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Magleby-Rasmussen Mortuary (96 N. 100 W.) Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Friends may call Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Mortuary prior to services. Interment in the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery
