Castle Dale – Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend Marva K. Seely, 78, passed away April 6, 2004 at her home in Castle Dale. She was born Sept. 18, 1925 in Emery, UT to Victor T. and Edna C. Sorensen Keele. She was raised in Emery and later married Orange Henry Seely on Dec. 24, 1955 in Elko, NV. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple in 1978. Marva enjoyed crafts, woodworking, embroidery and working beside her husband raising cows. Her greatest joy in her life was her family. She was also a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings. Marva is survived by her husband Henry Seely of Castle Dale, four daughters: Sandi (Tony) Smith of Moab, Terri and the late Ellis Smith of Grace, ID, Vania (David) Smith of Grace, ID, Cathy (Ray) Taylor of Las Vegas, NV, 13 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and a brother Melvin Keele of Las Vegas, and two sisters: Vernel Marqusic of Youngstown, OH, and Ina McElprang of Kearns, UT. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers John and Weldon Keele, sisters Ellen Stewart and Connie Keele. Friends may call for a visitation at the Fausett Mortuary on Fri., April 9, 2004 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Sat., April 10, 2004 in the Castle Dale Stake Center at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing one hour prior at the church. Interment will follow in the Castle Dale Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
