SEELY, MILFORD E., 85, of Homosassa, died Friday (April 12, 2002) at Life Care Center of Citrus County, Lecanto. Born in Madison, Wis., he came here in 1978 from Excelsior, Wis. He was an automotive mechanic, a charter member of West Citrus Elks Lodge 2693 and a member of First United Methodist Church of Homosassa. Survivors include his wife, Margrurite (Bedward); a son, Ronald, Homosassa; and two sisters, Bernice Peterson, Naples, and Mildred Bedward, Prairie du Chien, Wis. Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa Springs.

Seely, Milford E. – HOMOSASSA, FLA/MADISON – Milford E. Seely, age 85, died on Friday, April 12, 2002, in Homosassa, Fla. He was born on April 4, 1917, in Excelsior, Wis., the son of Lester and Martha (Fry) Seely. Milford worked for 30 years as a mechanic for Kayser Ford before retiring in 1978. After moving to Homosassa, Fla., Milford became a member of the 1st United Methodist Chruch and was a charter member of the West Citrus Elks Lodge No. 2693. He is survived his wife of 65 years, Margruite (Bedward) Seely of Homosassa, Fla.; a son, Ronald (Sharon) Seely of Homosassa, Fla.; sisters, Bernice (Robert) Peterson of Naples, Fla., and Mildred (Richard) Bedward of Prairie du Chien. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Thelma Hern. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the Gunderson East Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive with burial to follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Friends and family may call on Wednesday, April 17, 2002, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Gunderson East Funeral Home, 5203 Monona Drive.
