Mrs. Minnie Seely Died At Her Home Yesterday
Funeral Saturday Afternoon and Interment to be Made at Townville

Mrs. Minnie Seely died at 7 o’clock yesterday morning at her home, 204 North Third street, following an illness of about five weeks. She was born on Aug. 17, 1855 in Crawford county and spent practically her entire life in this county, although she resided for a few years in Venango county.

Mrs. Seely was twice married, her first husband, Henry Styer, passing away 35 years ago and Grant Seely died four years ago next month. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Fred Washburn of Westfield, N.Y., and Mrs. Samuel Shields of West Walnut street, this city, also by a brother, Andrew Jackson of Troy Center and three grandchildren. She was a devoted member of the Baptist church from childhood and held in high esteem by all who knew her.

Services in her memory will be conducted from the home Saturday at 1:30 p.m. and the interment will be made in Greenlawn cemetery at Townville.

Services in memory of Mrs. Minnie Seely were conducted at 1:30 Saturday from the late home, 204 North Third street, there being a large attendance of relatives and friends. Rev. Frederic H. Baker, pastor of the First Baptist church, conducted the service and the interment was made in Greenlawn cemetery at Townville, where the committal was in charge of Rev. R.E.L. Hayes of that village. The bearers were Fred Washburn, S.A. Shields, Charles and Jesse Jackson, the first two sons-in-law and the last two nephews of the deceased. Among those present for the service from out of the city were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Washburn and Mrs. Fred Franklin of Westfield, N.Y., Mr. and Mrs. Winans of Townville, Frank Seely and son of the Diamond, Jessie Jackson and family of Centreville and Mrs. Maud Beck of Meadville.
