Mrs. Seely, Lamesa Burial

LAMESA (SC) – Services were to be at 2 p.m. today for Mrs. Myrtle D. Seely, 86, who died Saturday in a local nursing home.

Funeral was to be in the First Assembly of God Church here with the Rev. W.M. Bozeman, Clyde, Tex., and the Rev. Raymond Grimes, pastor, officiating.

Burial was to be in Lamesa Memorial Park under the direction of Brandon Funeral Home.

Mrs. Seely had been a resident of Dawson County 40 years.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Lee R. Farmer, Harlingen, and Mrs. J.W. Farmer and Mrs. Jesse Stephens, both of Lamesa; seven sons, William Seely, Forth Worth, Gene Seely, Dimmitt, W.C. Seely, Knob Noster, Mo., Benny Seely, Columbia, S.C., Otis Seely, Dallas, Jimmy Seely, El Paso and Mickey Seely, Mount Pleasant; five sisters, Mrs. Omie Smith, Pleasanton, Mrs. Zell Millhoffon, Maryneal, Mrs. C.R. Chatoney, Costa Mesa, Calif., Mrs. Mattie Childress, Whitney, and Mrs. Betty Sapp, Odessa; 34 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Grandsons were to be pallbearers.
