DEATH CLAIMS MRS. SEELY

MOUNT PLEASANT. Jan 6. – Mrs. Nora Seely, wife of Cyrus Seely of Redmond, died at the home of her mother in this city yesterday. She is survived by her mother, Mrs. Mary D.C. Neilsen, her husband and one son, Leslie, also Harriett H.S. Rasmusson, Benjamin F., Nathaniel, Reni and Stan.

MRS. CYRUS SEELY DIES

MOUNT PLEASANT. Jan 5. – Mrs. Cyrus Seely, 45 years of age, of Redmond, died at noon Thursday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Mary D.C. Neilsen, after a long illness from goiter and a complication of diseases. Mrs. Seely was a graduate of Wasatch academy, class of 1876, and had spent her early life in Mount Pleasant. She is survived by her husband and a grown son, Leslie. She was a member of Hawthorne circle, Women of Woodcraft, of Mount Pleasant, which organization will participate at the funeral services.

FUNERAL SERVICES FOR MRS. SEELY

MT. PLEASANT, Jan. 11 – Funeral services for Mrs. Cyrus Seely were held yesterday at the South ward chapel. Bishop A.E. McIntosh presided. Music was furnished by the ward choir. Special numbers were: A vocal solo by Mrs. Louis A. Peterson and a ladies; quartet, consisting of Mrs. Ida Poulsen, Mrs. Nora Beckstom, Mrs. Elsie Barton and Mrs. Annie Ericksen, sang “Hope Beyond.” The speakers were Andrew Larsen, Henry P. Olsen, and Bishop McIntosh gave a few closing remarks. Prayers were said by Sylvester Barton and Roy Christensen.

Mrs. Seely was born at Spring City, April 9, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Neils Peter Neilsen. The family later moved to Mt. Pleasant, where Mrs. Seely had resided since, with the exception of a few years spent with her husband and son at Redmond, Utah.

She is survived by her mother, her husband and one son, Leslie, one sister, Grace, and three brothers, Nathanial, Arstuanus and Amelieus Neilsen.
