Norman Blaine Seely, 83, of Woodburn, died Dec. 9.

Born Dec. 14, 1920 in Woodburn, he was a graduate of Woodburn High School.

He was a self-employed carpenter and lived in the Woodburn area his entire life.

He was a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church and active in the church until his health prevented.

He married Bessie Louise Simmons. Bessie and his three daughters, Carolyn Jean, Betty Lou, and Sharon Rae, preceded him in death.

He married Edna Schatz on April 12, 1964 in Sheridan.

He is survived by his wife, Edna of Woodburn; brother, Lyman Seely of Aurora; sisters, Lois Wengenroth of Woodburn and Shirley Bond.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Dec. 18 at Hope Lutheran Church.

Interment will follow at the Greencrest Memorial Park in Sheridan.

Arrangements are by Simon-Woodburn Funeral Chapel.

A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 18, 2004, in Hope Lutheran Church in Woodburn for Norman B. Seely, who died Dec. 9 at age 83. Mr. Seeley was born Dec. 14, 1920, in Woodburn, where he lived all his life. He graduated from Woodburn High School and was a farmer and later a self-employed carpenter. In 1964, he married Edna Schatz.

Survivors include his wife; brother, Lyman; sisters, Lois Wengenroth and Shirley Bond.
