Patricia Ann Seely


Memorial services for Mrs. Patricia Ann Seely are private and under the direction of George Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 211 Park Ave. S.W., Aiken.

Mrs. Seely, 78, of Aiken, died peacefully at her home on Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008.

She was born in Bisbee, Ariz., a daughter of the late Walter Stewart and the late Anna Kurdish Stewart. She graduated from Chester High School in Chester, W.Va., and attended airline school. She worked at the United States Pentagon and was married to the late Robert Noble Seely, who died in 2006. They had made their home in New Jersey before settling in Aiken in 1967. Pat worked at the Aiken Standard for several years then founded the Pats Sub Shop in Aiken where she worked for more than 25 years. Pat loved bowling for many years and for the last two years was very active in the Silver Sneakers at Odell Weeks. She will be missed by the many people who had the opportunity to know her.

Pat is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Joseph) Lamb and Lorie Pattison; two sons, Douglas Seely and Sean Seely, all of Aiken; one sister, Delores (George) Metrovich of Louisville, Ky.; 12 grandchildren, Jason Robertson, Adam Robertson, Seth Robertson, Elizabeth Ann Robertson, Devin Walker, Cori Walker, Emily Pattison, Gage Pattison, Cameron Seely, Ariel Seely, Kodi Seely and Lydia Seely; and five great-grandchildren, Vega Walker, KG Walker, Averie Robertson, Mercedes Robertson and Ashley McCullum.
