RaNae Dyches “Vera” Seely

RaNae Dyches "Vera" Seely, Mt. Pleasant, Utah RaNae D. Seely, 55 passed away peacefully at her home in Mt. Pleasant Sept. 2, 2009 of heart disease. She was born to Dean and LaRae Dyches on Feb. 19, 1954 in Mt. Pleasant, UT. RaNae graduated from North Sanpete High School in 1971. She married Scott Seely in 1971. They shared a 25 year marriage and had four wonderful children; two of which passed away in infancy and two of which brought her great joy in life. She was an avid bowler and was also very competitive in softball and volleyball. She went on to coach many years in both sports. She also loved the outdoors and riding motorcycles. RaNae started a little cleaning business helping clean and care for her "old folks." She put her heart and soul into making sure they were taken care of and enjoyed every minute of it and was always on the go! Later in life she rediscovered love with Roger Harwood. They enjoyed many motorcycle trips and spending time together playing horseshoes at the Chester Ritz. With RaNae you always knew where you stood and you always knew what was on her mind. Her kindness and willingness to help others was never more apparent than in her father's later years as she devoted herself to his care. RaNae touched many lives with her love and honesty. She should be remembered for her vibrant personality and her love for others. She will be missed by many. She is survived by daughter Lynn Seely of Seattle, WA and son Levi Seely of Mt. Pleasant, UT; granddaughter Alyssa Seely; sister Oleah Mower; brothers Vernon Dyches and Danny Dyches. Preceded in death by parents Dean and LaRae and two children Adam and Tish. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 9, 2009 at 12 noon in the Moroni Stake Center.
