Cherryvale(KS) – Randy L. Seely, 56, of Cherryvale, died late Wednesday, May 1, 2002, as the result of a single-vehicle traffic accident about three miles west of the Elk and Cowley county line.

He was born May 12, 1945 in Mound Valley (KS), to Wayne Clifford and Nora (Darbo) Seely. He grew up and attended school in the Mound Valley area. He was self-employed. He was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Cherryvale.

Survivors include his mother of Cherryvale; three sons, Randy L. Seely, Jr. of Texas; Timothy L. Seely of Parsons (KS), and Dewayne A. Seely of Cherryvale; one daughter, Maranda J. Louise Edwards of Neodesha (KS); one brother Larry W. Seely of California, and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his father and one son, Curtis M. Seely.

Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the Potts Chapel of Cherryvale with the Rev. Robert Allen officiating. Friends may register from noon until the service time at the funeral home.
