Stanley Eugene Seely

Stanley Eugene Seely, age 90 years, died Sunday, June 3, 2007 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. He was a World War II veteran with service in North Africa, Italy, and Japan. He was a former resident of Lakeview and a Katrina evacuee. He lived very happily these last 21 months at Live Oak Village Assisted Living in Hammond. He is survived by his beloved wife, Estelle Reich Seely and his brother, Joseph H. Seely, both of whom are residents of Live Oak Village. He is also survived by his nieces, Joyce S. Hensley of Baton Rouge and Lorraine S. Pecot of Slidell, and his great nephew and nieces, Russell L. Pecot, Jennifer P. Gorden, Victoria P. Verges, and Catherine Hensley, as well as 8 great great nieces and nephews. He was preceeded in death by his parents, Joseph and Leona Ritter Seely, and his brother, Russell C. Seely.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 1:15 PM in the Chapel of Jacob Schoen and Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal Street at N. Scott. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM. Interment will be at Hope Mausoleum.
