Stanley W. Seely

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, 1997, in Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel for Stanley W. Seely, who died Oct. 22 at age 70.

Mr. Seely was born June 25, 1927, in Woodburn. He graduated from Battle Ground (Wash.) High School and attended Clark Community College. He was a mint farmer in Woodland, Wash., and Yakima. After moving to Clark County during the early 1970s, he owned Hazel Dell Car Wash until retiring in 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Marlys; daughters, Claudia Bigby of East Wenatchee, Wash., Gail Boob of Wapato, Wash., Dona Seely of Seattle and Becky Kumma of Brush Prairie, Wash.; sister, Hazel Erickson of Kingston, Wash.; and 11 grandchildren.

Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family suggests remembrances to the American Heart Association.

Stanley Seely

Stanley Seely, a Woodland mint farmer who lived in Clark County for 25 years, died in Vancouver Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1997. He was 70.

A graduate of Battle Ground High School, Mr. Seely attended Clark College and was a member of the University of Washington Tyee Club. He enjoyed fishing and traveling in his motor home.

He was born June 25, 1927, in Woodburn, Ore. Mr. Seely owned a mint farm in Yakima and operated a car wash in Hazel Dell.

Survivors include his wife, Marlys, at home; four daughters, Claudia Bigby of East Wenatchee, Gail Boob of Wapato, Wash., Dona Seely of Seattle and Becky Kumma of Brush Prairie; one sister, Hazel Erickson of Kingston, Wash.; and 11 grandchildren.

A funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Gardens Funeral Chapel, with burial in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
