Stella M. Seely



Stella M. Seely, 85, died at 11:10 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at Titusville Area Hospital, where she was admitted Feb. 20.

Mrs. Seely was a resident of Golden Living of Titusville since December 2008. She had resided in the Titusville and Pleasantville areas.

Mrs. Seely was born May 18, 1923 in Titusville, a daughter of the late Harry Fadden and Frances Kendzior Fadden.

She married William J. Seely Dec. 27, 1941 at St. Titus Church.

Mr. Seely died Aug. 25, 1996.

She was formerly employed by Titusville Area Hospital in the laundry department.

Mrs. Seely attended St. Titus Church.

Mrs. Seely enjoyed playing bingo, golfing with her husband in her younger years, traveling and gardening.

Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Hauptmann and her husband, Leslie, of Belleview, Fla., Sonja Sharp and her husband, Jim, of East Hickory and Mona Hummell and her husband, Gary, of Pleasantville; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Joseph Fadden, of Titusville; a sister-in-law, Irmgard Fadden, of Titusville; a niece and nephew.

She was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother, Henry A.“Hank” Fadden.

No public calling hours will be observed. A private funeral service for the family will be conducted. Interment will be in Troy Center Cemetery.

The family suggests that memorial contributions can be made to the Scott V. Sharp Memorial Scholarship Fund, c/o Barbara C. Litten, Esq., 403 Elm St., Tionesta, Pa., 16353.
