ROSWELL - Teri Glenn Seely died August 27, 2003 after a courageous and dignified struggle with cancer. She is survived by her loving husband, Christopher W. Seely; her two sons, Michael and Nicholas; mother, Dorothy Glenn Lacy; brother, Allen Glenn (Brenda); her nephew, Daniel Glenn; niece, Kelly Glenn Hentges (Jeff).

Teri was born in Warner Robins, Georgia, on September 23, 1955. She graduated from Northside High School in Warner Robins in 1973 and Macon State College in 1975. Family and friends treasure their memories of Teri's thoughtfulness, generosity, elegance, and wonderful sense of humor. A devoted mother to her two sons, she delighted in their accomplishments and always opened her home to their many friends, who considered her a "second mom." She was a caring and loving friend, the first to welcome a new neighbor or bring a meal to a family in need. She was passionate about neighborhood and community affairs. She served on the Fulton County Schools' Talented and Gifted Advisory Committee for over seven years and as co-chair for three years.

There will be a visitation and memorial service Saturday, September 6, 2003 at 4P.M. at the Roswell Funeral Home, 950 Mansell Road, Roswell, GA (770-993-4811). A gathering of friends and family will follow at the Seely's home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Georgia Ovarian Cancer Alliance, P.O. Box 28430, Atlanta, GA 30358. -Roswell Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
