Vaun Camp Seely 4/22/19 ~ 11/29/02 Our loving mother, Vaun Camp Seeley passed away with family at her side in Provo, Utah on November 29, 2002 after suffering a stroke. She was born April 22, 1919 in Annabella, Utah to William E. and Fern Hanchett Camp. She spent her childhood in Burrville with her six siblings helping on the family farm. Following graduations from Richfield High School, she went to Salt Lake City to work. She met her life long companion Earl (Dick) Seely and they were married on December 21, 1940 in Salt Lake City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Swiss LDS Temple. They moved to Richland, Washington where they lived for 54 years until Dick's death in 1994. When her health failed, Vaun moved back to Utah living in the Seville Retirement center in Orem. With increased health problems, she moved to the Assisted Living facility of Courtyard at Jamestown in Provo. She enjoyed the activities, friendships and the loving and devoted care while living there until she passed from this life. Mom was well known throughout her life for her beautiful singing voice. Her life was devoted to her family and church where she served for many years. She will long be remembered for her many years of service in the Relief Society. She truly exemplified that Charity never Faileth . Sharing her skills as a quilter and gardener, she was a friend to all and brought much enjoyment thru her kindness to so many. Mom was a devoted mother and is survived by a daughter, Shauna Seely (John) Pusey of Orem, Utah and a son, Bill (Pat) Seely of Yakima, Washington. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; Scott, Shauna Anne, Stephanie, Sara and Chad, Tara and Erin and 14 great-grandchildren all of whom she adored. She also left a brother, Mack Camp of Central Valley, Utah; a sister, Barbara Camp King of Richland, Washington and Phyllis Stapelton of Bakersfield, California and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and four other siblings. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, Utah. Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 10 to 10:45 a.m. prior to service. Burial will be in the Richfield, Utah Cemetery. The family wishes to thank all who have loved and cared for Vaun during these last few years and especially the loving staff of the Memory support unit in the Assisted Living facility of Courtyard at Jamestown as well as Doctor Peter Duros.
