Vincent Seely, 75, Payne, died at 1:15 a.m. Friday in Paulding County Hospital.

He was born Feb. 17, 1926, in Wyandotte, Mich., the son of John and Mazo (Heiserman) Seely. In 1948, he married Orlea Burkley, who survives. He was a school teacher, retired from Antwerp Local School, a member of Payne Church of the Nazarene and a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II.

Also surviving are two sons, Robin of Parker, Colo., and Rodney, Huntington, Ind.; two daughters, Donna Bartolf of Somers, Conn., and Cathy Ruiz, Payne; two brothers, Carol of Zephyrhills, Fla., and Calvin, Lake Ozark, Mo.; and nine grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were two brothers.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the church with Rev. Michael Harper officiating. Burial will be in Lehman Cemetery, Payne. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today in Slade Funeral Home, Payne.

Preferred memorials are to the church building fund.
