WARD RAYMOND SEELY

A memorial service for Ward Raymond Seely will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 21, in the Wilsonville United Methodist Church. Inurnment will be in Clackamas Cemetery.

Mr. Seely died of cancer July 2, in his home. He was 73.

He was born Dec. 28, 1917, in Portland, and was a fourth-generation Wilsonville resident.

He married Dorothy Leek Buckles on Sept. 25, 1952. He and his wife owned and operated Seely's Ceramics in Wilsonville until 1984, when she preceded him in death. He retired and sold the business later that year. He had been a member of the Tualatin Valley Volunteer Fire Department and The Oregon Ceramic Association.

Survivors include a son, Dennis Ward Seely of West Linn; sister, Marjorie Montague of Wilsonville; companion and friend Juanita Lyons of Wilsonville; and two grandchildren.

The family suggests remembrances be contributions to The Hospice Program, Visiting Nurses Association or Wilsonville Memorial Park.
