WALTON – Webb Seymour Seely, 80, of Walton, died June 12, in Bassett Hospital, Cooperstown, after a three-week illness.

Funeral services will be at 2:30 Sunday, June 15, at Lyon Brothers Chapel with the Rev. John McCreight, pastor of the United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.

Mr. Seely was born April 20, 1878, in Franklin, a son of William S. and Mary (Webb) Seeley. He was married to Mary Prindle on Dec. 6, 189_. She died March 26, 1939. He then married Mrs. Cora Miller on August 4, 1943.

A retired farmer, he lived on Kerrs Creek farm until 15 years ago when he moved to Walton. He had been custodian of the United Presbyterian Church for 14 years.

He was a member of the Star Club of the Presbyterian Church and belonged to the Northfield Congregational Church.

Surviving besides his wife are one son, Frank of Walton; one daughter, Mrs. Ira Gregory, Walton; a step-son, Everett Miller, Walton, a step-daughter, Mrs. Charles Miller, Sidney; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; one brother, Clarence Seeley, Walton.

Friends may call at the Lyon Brothers Chapel on Friday evening and until service time.
