William A. Seely


William A. Seely, 83, who worked as a truck driver and mechanic for the Haseley Trucking Co. for many years, died April 19, 2000, in Merry Heart Nursing Home, Succasunna, N.J., following a lengthy illness.

Born in Rochester, he was an Army veteran of World War II.

Seely moved to Niagara Falls after the war and to Succasunna five years ago.

Seely enjoyed helping neighbors with problems requiring his mechanical know-how.

Survivors include his wife, the former Blanche McQueen of Succasunna; three daughters, Barbara of Seattle, Bonnie Baker of Dover, N.J., and Patricia Henderson of Killeen, Texas; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Services were held April 22 in New Jersey. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lewiston.
