SHASTA LAKE – Memorial services for William Wallace Seely, 76, of Shasta Lake will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.

Son Perry Seely will officiate.

Mr. Seely died Thursday, Aug. 2, 2001, at his residence.

Born Feb. 23, 1925 in Stockton, he moved to Shasta County in 1957 from Chico.

He was a teacher for the Shasta Lake School District, a U.S. Army veteran, a member of the 10th Mountain Division Ski Patrol, a member of the California Teachers Association and a member of the American Ski Team of Northern California.

Survivors include wife Genevieve; sons Perry of Middletown, Ohio, and Damon of Shasta Lake; and four grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Redding.
