SEELY, Willis Albert "Bill" - Passed away in Walnut Creek on February 23, 2004. A native of California, 78 years. Beloved husband of 54 years of Yvonne "Bonnie" Seely; loving father of Peter Seely of San Francisco and Bruce Seely and his wife Kristen of Newberg, OR. Survived by his brothers, Milton of Spring Valley, CA and Norman of San Diego, CA. A Vice President for 45 years at Trader Vic's Corporation, he was a long time resident of the Bay Area, Bill was born in San Diego, CA and enlisted in the Marine Corps at the age of 15. As a Marine Sergeant, he was a decorated war hero during the second world war for his bravery and leadership in the Saipan, Tinian and Iwo Jima battles. Once he finished his patriotic duty, he graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Business. He loved to hunt and fish, Bill wants to be remembered as "The world's greatest fisherman". He was a member of the Rossmoor Sportsmans' Club as well as a long time member of the Wineme Duck Club, Tule Lake, CA. Private services.
