His employment was briefly interrupted from 1942 -45 when he served in World War II as a radio and radar specialist in Europe. Throughout his life, Wilson participated in a variety of singing grounds including war choirs, quartets, and barbershop ensembles. He was an avid golfer, especially after he and Marie moved to St. George in 1981. The family wishes to thank the care providers at Prestige Assisted Living center and Eastridge Rehabilitation Center for their patience and love towards Wilson.
