Harold Seelye

Funeral services were held Thursday for Harold W. Seelye, 52, of 1410 Black street, Pekin, who died at 2:41 a.m. Wednesday at the Pekin Memorial Hospital.

He was born Nov. 6, 1929 in Manito, the son of Virgil J. and Golda Thomas Seelye. He married Ruth Cohenour in Pekin on Sept. 29, 1956. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict, having served with the U.S. Army. He had been employed at Caterpillar Tractor Company for the past 27 years.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth; a son Harold, at home; two daughters, Celestia Klicker of Princeton and Lois Graham of East St. Louis; a brother, Charles of Salem, Mo.; four sisters, Mrs. Goldie Brush of Galesburg, Mrs. Mary Greer of Glasgow, Ky., and Mrs. Shirley Burfield and Mrs. Sarah Giles, both of Pekin; and four grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were three brothers.

Services were held in the Woolsey Funeral Home with Dr. James K. White officiating.

Burial was in Lakeview Cemeterty.
