Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Mildred Seelye

MANITO – Funeral services for Mrs. Mildred P. Seelye, 72 of 209 W. Mason, were conducted at 1:30 p.m., Thursday in Limback Funeral Home, Manito. Interment was in Meadow Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Seelye was found dead at her home at 10:30 a.m. Monday, October 2, 1978. A medical inquiry is being conducted by Mason County Coroner Jerry Hurley.

Memorials may be made to the Forman Ambulance Service.

She was born at San Jose September 28, 1906, a daughter of Harvey and Sarah Boehringer Thomas. She married Roy H. Seelye at Havana April 9, 1924. He died September 24, 1975. Surviving are a son, Roy, Jr., of Manito; two daughters, Mrs. Goldie Hayward and Mrs. Florence Smith, both of Pekin; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Also surviving are four brothers, Hollie, Russell and Alfred Thomas, all of Pekin, and Floyd of Willow Springs, Missouri
