Mrs. Seelye
Hearne – Funeral services for Mrs. Nannie Viene Seelye, 72, of Hearne will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Hearne with the Rev. Dr. Dwight Dudley of the First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Norwood Cemetery in Hearne under the direction of Heartfield Funeral Home.
Mrs. Seelye died Dec. 2 at her home in Hearne. She was born May 29, 1904 in Navarro County, Texas. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Hearne and had operated a beauty shop in Hearne for 35 years.
Survivors include one son, William Jackson Seelye Jr. of Arlington; three daughters, Mrs. Lafae Squires of Plano, Mrs. Ina Lee Adams of Hearne, Mrs. Leta Mae Purl of Hearne; one brother, Doyle Jayroe of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. Lois McClintock of Spendora, Mrs. Laura Pickering of Conroe and Mrs. Eulala Berryhill of Hearne; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
