Ralph Seelye

PEKIN (PNS) – Ralph E. Seelye, 77, of 105 St. Mary died at 4 p.m. Monday at Pekin Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient two weeks.

His funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Kuecks Funeral Home with the Rec. Kurt J. Schmeichen officiating. Burial will be from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

He was born Aug. 17, 1891, in Mason County, a son of Milton and Alice Foster Seelye. He married Nettie Carpenter in 1914, at Springfield.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Naomi Zuklic, Mrs. Marian Drake, Pekin; two sons, Harold, Lincoln; Clayton, Pekin; a sister, Mrs. Lawrence Quick, Havana; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A brother and three sisters preceded him in death.

He was a member of the Modern Woodmen of American and was a retired Caterpillar Tractor Co. employe.
