Warren O. Seelye Jr., 76, of Birmingham, died Monday, Nov. 27, at Harper Hospital, Detroit. He was born Dec. 16, 1912 in Long Island, N.Y.
Mr. Seelye founded the Warren Seelye Realty Company, which operated for 36 years in Detroit. He retired at age 55.
He was a graduate of Michigan State University, where he was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity. Mr. Seelye was a member of Kiwanis and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Wyma; daughters, Sally Ness of Bloomfield Hills, Jacqueline Buyse of Royal Oak and Nancy Jane of Rochester; brothers Jack Howard of Sun City, Fla. And Robert of Marietta, Ga.; sisters Jeanetta Wells of Rancho Bernardo, Calif. and Martha Carrie of Portland, Ore.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at the Bell Chapel of The Wm. R. Hamilton Co., Birmingham.
Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery, Royal Oak.
