Carson Seelye, 87, Palmetto, died Nov. 28, 2000.
He was born Feb. 9, 1913, in Rose, N.Y., and came to Manatee County in 1978 from there. He owned and operated Seelye Ladder Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Lions Club. He was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God.
Survivors include a daughter, Carol Shipley of North Rose, N.Y.; a brother, Dorr of New York; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rose Cemetery, Rose. Bradenton Funeral Home is in charge.
