Memorial services for Charles William Seelye, 88, DeKalb, father of a Tyler resident, are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Monday at Maranatha Christian Center with the Rev. Steve McMichael officiating.

Private burial will be under direction of Bates-Rolf Funeral Home, DeKalb.

Mr. Seelye died Nov. 15, 2006, at his residence. He was born Oct. 18, 1918, in Ennis. He served in the Marine Corps during World War II and was retired owner of an upholstery business. He was a member of Maranatha Christian Ministries and DeKalb Senior Center. He was preceded in death by son, Paul Seelye.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Seelye, DeKalb; son, Charles Brent Seelye, Tyler; two grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
