SEELYE
Elizabeth L. Age 81, of Canton, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2005, at Broad Acres Nursing Home. She was born on February 2, 1924 in Wheeling, WV, a daughter of the late Walter and Iva (Moore) Rumsey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herman A. Seelye. Elizabeth was a member of the Canton Church of Christ. Prior to her retirement, she was co-owner of Seelye's Electrical Company. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Suzanne Seelye of Canton, PA, Gary Seelye and wife, Mary of Brownsville, PA, Carl Seelye and wife, Ann of York, PA; six grandchildren, Craig Seelye and wife, Kara of York, PA, Jill Seelye of Belcamp, MD, Joel Seelye of Pittsburgh, PA, and Nathan, Joshua and Bethany Seelye of Brownsville, PA; two sisters, Lois Peters of Dallas, TX, Bonnie Longley of Park Forest, IL; three brothers, Jerald Rumsey and wife, Deanna of Mansfield, PA, Richard Rumsey and wife, Alma of Anderson, SC, James Rumsey and wife, Elsie of Canton, PA; a sister-in-law, Ann Rumsey of Perry, NY; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Friends will be received at the Morse-Kleese Funeral Home, Center Street, Canton, PA, on Saturday, March 12, from 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Canton Church of Christ on Sunday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. David B. Morris officiating.
