GRAY - Gladys Hyde Seelye, 91, of GA Highway 18 West, died Tuesday, June 03, 2003, in a local nursing home. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00pm, Thursday at Bridges Funeral Home in Gray. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 06, 2003, in the Chapel of Bridges Funeral Home, with burial at Plentitude Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Donnie Melton will officiate. -Mrs. Seelye was born in Fanin County and had lived in Gray for the past thirty-eight years. She was the daughter of James Napoleon Hyde and Senia Standridge Hyde. Mrs. Seelye was a homemaker and was a member of North Ridge Baptist Church in Macon. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jacob M. Pendergrass, and by her second husband, Paul W. Seelye, Sr. -Mrs. Seelye is survived by her daughters: Lucille Gordon and Wanda McLendon, both of Gray, and Delores Beason of Cocoa Beach, Florida; her sisters: Leo Hyde of Knoxville, Tennessee, Helen Mosley of Blue Ridge and Lenarue Babb of Marietta; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. -The family may be contacted at the residence of Mrs. Lucille Gordon at 1376 GA Highway 18 West in Gray. -Bridges Funeral Home in Gray has charge of arrangements.
