PEORIA - Lillian B. Seelye, age 94, of Peoria, Ill., passed away on Friday, Sept. 11, 2009, at the Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton, Ill.
Lillian was born on Jan. 18, 1915, in Villa Grove, Ill., to John A. and Elaine (Darnell) Beccue. She married Jack E. Seelye in July of 1939.
Lillian worked as a homemaker and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by one son, Robert L. Seelye of Bartonville, Ill.; one daughter, Carol (Robert) Hicks of East Peoria, Ill.; one brother; one sister; three grandchildren, Kevin (Elizabeth) Hicks, Cindy (Jim Paul) Hicks and Rachel Seelye; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, one brother and one sister.
Private services and burial will be held at Springdale Cemetery in Peoria.
Memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
