LAWRENCEVILLE, Ill. -- Margaret E. Seelye, 89, died Wednesday morning at United Methodist Village.
She was dean of nursing at Olivet College in Kankakee and at Roberts Wesleyan in North Chili, N.Y.
She was a member of Church of the Nazarene.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Carolyn McElroy of Vicksburg, Mich.; a stepson, Tedd F. of Wheaton; two sisters, Lillian Gallagher of Rochester, N.Y., and Lois Jean DeBrine of Webster, N.Y.; a brother, Laverne Rambo of Monaco, Pa.; eight stepgrandchildren; stepgreat-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
Her husband, Carroll, died in 1983.
Private graveside services will be at Mount Hope Cemetery in Lapeer, Mich.
Smith Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
