MARGARET SEELYE, FORMER COOK, DIES AT 73

Margaret Seelye, 73, of 1002 New York Ave., died Monday evening at A. Barton Hepburn Hospital.

The funeral will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Church of Christ, with Rev. Ranson Hammond and Rev. Grace Hammond, co-pastors, officiating. Burial at Foxwood Memorial Park, Ogdensburg.

Calling hours will be this evening at Nichols Funeral Home.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Beverly) Brenno, with whom she lived; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was born in Roebuck, Canada, June 11, 1915, a daughter of John and Anna Johnson Robinson.

Her marriage to Kent Seelye ended in divorce.

Mrs. Seelye was employed as a charge cook at the New York State Rangers School for many years.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ, the Business and Professional Women's Club, the St. Lawrence Valley Republican Club, the Women's Fellowship of United Church of Christ, the A. Barton Hepburn Hospital City Guild and the American Legion Auxiliary 69.
