Seelye and his wife Judy of Amherst, NH, and the late Jean M. Doulette. Grandmother of Michael, Jennifer and Amy Seelye, Robert and Kristen Doulette, and Lisa Jean McDougall. Great grandmother of Carly Jean and Drew Doulette.

Funeral from the J. Frank Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton, MA Monday at 8 a.m. Funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Bridgewater, MA at 9 a.m. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 2 – 6 pm. Donations in her name may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, One Joslin Place, Boston 02215.

Obituary Information
Mrs. Seelye died Friday morning at the Braemoor Rehabilitation Center in Brockton after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Brockton, she was the daughter of the late Henry A. and Mary E. (Hannan) McKenney. She attended Brockton schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School, Class of 1941. She had been employed by New England Telephone as a Toll Supervisor, before staying home to raise her children. She later returned to work at Jordan Marsh Company in Brockton. She had been a member of the Brockton Catholic Women’s Club, and while a resident of Brockton she was a long time communicant of St. Margaret Church. While living in Bridgewater she was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Mrs. Seelye was a homemaker who was devoted to her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Leo P. Seelye, 1 son Paul E. Seelye of Amherst, NH, 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Jean M. Doulette and sister of the late Henry A. McKenney, Jr.
