Graveside service for Ozella Seelye, 89, of Chico was April 27, at Chico Cemetery. The Rev. Ken Hedstrom officiated.

Seelye died Saturday, April 24, 2004, in Bridgeport.

Born Dec. 24, 1914, in Stephenville to U.E. and Minnie (Phelps) Talley, she was a retired mini-storage manager. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Chico and was a member of the Rebekahs. She married LeRoy Seelye on Jan. 6, 1935.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1999; a great-grandson, Dustin Seelye; a sister, Jewel Murry; and four brothers, Carl, Raymond, Irvin and Harold Talley.

She is survived by a son, Bob Seelye and wife, Vernice, of Chico; two grandsons, Ronny Seelye and Roy Seelye and wife, Rena; and three great-grandchildren, Bobby, Ashley and Cody.

Ozella Seelye, 89, a retired mini-storage manager, died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at a Bridgeport nursing home.

Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Chico Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Chapel.

Ozella was born in Stephenville to U.E. and Minnie Talley. She married LeRoy Seelye on Jan. 6, 1935, in Colbert, Okla. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Dustin Seelye; sister, Jewel Murray; brothers, Carl, Irvin, Raymond and Harold Talley.

Survivors: Son, Bob Seelye and wife, Vernice; grandchildren, Ronny Seelye, Roy Seelye and wife, Rena; great-grandchildren, Bobby, Ashley and Cody; numerous nieces and nephews.
