Orin Seeley

PALO ALTO – Orin E. Seeley, a Palo Alto resident for 30 years, died here Nov. 20 at the age of 58.

Mr. Seeley worked for American President Steamship Lines for 32 years.

Mr. Seeley, who was born in Presque-Isle, Maine, attended college in Bangor, Maine, and served in the U.S. Army in World War II.

Surviving are his wife, Frances Seeley; a son, Scott Seeley of Palo Alto; a daughter, Jacqueline Doerges of Campbell; his sister, Betty Pridemore of Pennsylvania; and two grandchildren.

Cremation was under the direction of the Neptune Society.

The family prefers that memorials be donations to the Wedde Handiswimmers of the Community Association of Retarded, 3864 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto.
