Last Rites for Pioneer Covinan

Last rites were held Wednesday afternoon for A.M. Seeley, 69, pioneer rancher in this valley, whose death, following an extended illness, occurred Sunday evening at Hermosa Beach.

Services were held in the local Christian church with Rev. W. Dow Crewdson and Rev. J.M. Utter of Ontario officiating. Interment was made at Oakdale cemetery.

Pallbearers were C.P. Speer, Henry Van Ginkel, H.T. Headley, D.F. Stafford, J.O. Houser and O.W. Prescott.

Mr. Seeley came to California in 1895 and settled in Covina, where he was engaged in the Citrus industry until the advent of his illness. He was an active member of K.P. and Odd Fellows lodges and was living on Cypress avenue.

Besides his widow, Mrs. Alice Atkinson Seeley, the deceased leaves his mother, one daughter, Margaret, and one sister.
