Hiram W. Seeley

Hiram W. Seeley, 69, of Potter Valley died yesterday at Hillside Hospital for reasons under investigation by the Mendocino County Coroner’s Office.

Mr. Seeley apparently died of complications stemming from an accidental fall, however, autopsy findings weren’t available this morning.

Born in Oklahoma, Mr. Seeley had been a Potter Valley resident for 11 years. He was a retired employee for Jutson Steel and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.

It is not known whether he has any survivors from his immediate family. However, he has a niece, Edna Pacheo of Los Angeles, and a nephew, Terry Kelley of Nevada.

Under the direction of Eversole Mortuary, graveside services will be held Thursday at Ukiah Cemetery at 2 p.m. Rev. William Duncan will officiate.

Friends may call at Eversole Mortuary Thursday until 1:30 p.m.
